TV NEWS: 50 Cent’s BMF Renewed For Season 4 Ahead Of Season 3 Premiere + Where to Watch S3 Premiere
Looks like STARZ is staying in business with 50 Cent!
The popular crime-drama BMF has been renewed for a fourth season ahead of the third season premiere on Friday Mar. 1. This is great news for fans of the series, whose season 2 finale ‘New Beginnings’ aired on Mar. 17, 2023. It has been a whole year since the show has graced the small screen. For those who haven’t seen the finale, spoiler alert ahead!
In the Season 2 finale, Meech and Terry are dealing with the next big step for BMF's expansion. Viewers saw Detective Bryant take the fall for the gun he used to kill Jay Mo and Kato. While Terry ends up staying in Detroit, he may find himself back in a corner as he deals with the women in his life.
According to STARZ, season 3’s official premise will resume immediately where season 2 left off.
“We kick off Season Three in the early ’90s when the Flenory Family has reinvented themselves. Meech has moved to Atlanta on a mission to build up the BMF empire in the south that he and Terry created in Detroit. The series continues to humanize the choices of the brothers’ business and their pursuits of the American Dream.”
Season 3 will see the return of the main cast members, including Russell Hornsby (Lost in Space), Michole Briana White (Dead to Me), Eric Kofi-Abrefa (The Book of Clarence), Steve Harris (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Myles Truitt (Stranger Things), Kelly Hu (The Scorpion King), La La Anthony (Power), and Laila Pruitt (Everything’s Gonna Be Ok).
Season 3 of BMF will officially premiere on Mar. 1, 2024. This third season will exclusively air on the STARZ TV channel at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT and available to stream on the STARZ app. Season 3 will follow a weekly release schedule on Fridays. The season will run for ten episodes, with the finale set to premiere on Friday, May 10.
